Brands Over Brews is a business and marketing podcast built around thoughtful conversations with industry leaders. When this project began, the podcast hadn’t launched yet — the only existing asset was a cover image. Everything else needed to be created from scratch.
The goal was to design a digital presence that felt established from day one, giving the podcast credibility before its first episode ever aired.
Brand Translation to Digital
The podcast already had a strong concept and visual direction, but it needed to translate into a cohesive system across web, audio, and social. The challenge was turning a cover design into a complete brand experience that felt intentional, flexible, and scalable.
The digital direction focused on bold color usage, confident typography, and playful but controlled visuals. The result supports the conversational tone of the podcast while still feeling polished and professional enough for business audiences.
Website & Listening Experience
The website was designed and built specifically to support listening behavior. Episodes are easy to discover, playback is simple, and the experience stays focused on content rather than unnecessary interaction.
A custom audio player was implemented to keep users engaged on-site, while the overall layout prioritizes clarity, hierarchy, and speed. The site acts as both a home base for the podcast and a launch platform for future episodes, guests, and content.
Rather than breaking the experience into multiple disconnected components, the site was designed as a single, cohesive system — one that grows naturally as the podcast evolves.
Episode Visual System
In addition to the website, a visual system was created for episode covers to ensure consistency across platforms. Each episode design feels distinct while still clearly belonging to the same brand.
This system allows new episodes to be released quickly without sacrificing visual quality, supporting long-term content production and promotion.

The final result is a complete digital foundation for Brands Over Brews — built before launch, but designed to scale well beyond it. From branding to web to episode visuals, the project delivers a cohesive identity that feels intentional, credible, and ready for growth.
